2. Schedule Counseling Appointment.
3. Login to your Mt. SAC Student Portal. Mt. SAC Portal Login Instructions

TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS FOR CLAIMING PORTAL:

• When choosing your class, noncredit classes usually begin with the VOC or BS prefix.
• If you get an "Authentication Error", open a new tab in your browser. Then type in mtsac.edu and click on "Portal Log-in" and type your user name and password.
• If you don't have or don't know your Social Security Number (SSN), type 0000 instead of a SSN.

In your portal select Canvas to get started on course work.

Health Resources

Meals

• Free food is available for you or your family. Call 211 or visit Food Finder and enter your address to find local pantries where you can get free groceries, no questions asked 
• You may be eligible for CalFresh which provides monthly support so you can buy groceries. CalFresh food benefits can also be used online to buy groceries at Walmart or Amazon
• Spend $35 or more on groceries and get home delivery for free. Apply at Get Cal Fresh or call 1-866-613-3777
• Moms and families with children may be eligible to receive EBT cards that can help pay for food. Visit WIC California or call 1-888-WIC-WORKS to learn about WIC (assistance available for moms and children under 5)
• Students, the Cal Fresh program is California's food stamps (SNAP) program. You can apply and may be eligible to receive up to $194 a month per household member on an EBT card.  For more information, please visit:  Cal Fresh
